Close on the heels of bagging heroine role in Ajith’s 57th film,
Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in for another ‘mega’ project. She will be
seen sharing the screen space with Tollywood top star Chiranjeevi in
his comeback movie, which is also his 150th venture.Interestingly, it is a remake of Vijay-starrer ‘Kaththi’ and Kajal will be seen in the role enacted by Samantha in the original. “She is so thrilled about bagging the project,” sources said.
Directed by V V Vinayak and produced by Ramcharan (Chiru’s son), the film has script by A R Murugadoss, the director of the original version. “He has slightly tweaked the script to match the taste of Telugu audience and to satisfy Chiranjeevi fans,” sources said.
The much awaited project hit the floors recently in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Kajal will soon pack her bags off to Bulgaria, to attend the shoot of ‘Thala-57’ directed by ‘Siruthai’ Siva.
